Environmental Sustainability at LPL Financial
From the breakroom to the boardroom, LPL Financial engages in numerous initiatives and daily practices to use natural resources responsibly and reduce our environmental footprint. We do so because it’s good for our stakeholders, our business, and our planet.
Sustainability at LPL
Perhaps the strongest example of LPL’s commitment to sustainability is the design of it’s free-standing green buildings in Fort Mill, SC, (know as the Carolinas campus) and San Diego, CA. LPL’s Boston office is also in a LEED-certified, high rise building in the city’s financial district downtown.

Paperless Processes
We’ve improved the ease and efficacy of our paperless statement mailing program to positively impact our environmental footprint.

Water
Management
We measure and manage the water consumption in our offices, which in 2022 included 1,241,201 gallons of potable water.

Energy and Emissions
We invest in energy conservation programs in our offices to reduce emissions as one of our biggest operational expenses.

Recycling
Programs
We offer recycling for either separate or single-stream recycling waste management, plus the recycling of batteries, eyeglasses, coffee pods, and print cartridges.
Attraction
We are committed to attracting more financial professionals that reflect the changing marketplace.

We help financial professionals grow their business by engaging new investor markets.
Opportunity
We create inclusive opportunities for financial professionals to connect, learn, and share best practices.
